Let's Read! Logging Tickets and Prizes
Prize entries for the Highland County Public Library’s Summer Reading Program are given based on reading minutes and program attendance. We will be tracking again on Beanstack at highlandlibrary.beanstack.org. Register on Beanstack and join the Boogie Down With Books Summer Reading Program. You can log your minutes and your books read there. For every hour of reading you complete, you will be awarded a badge. When you have completed five hours of reading, you will be eligible to claim a small prize. Attendance at Summer Reading Program events will give you a secret code to enter for an additional chance to win a big prize!
Anyone 17 and under is eligible, and the reading program runs June 23 - August 8, 2025.
Don't have a computer or phone for apps? We will do the Beanstack logging for you! When you finish a book write down the book title and log your reading minutes. Once you have 300 minutes (five hours!), you can return your reading log to the library for a prize. There is a limit of ten completed reading logs for the summer.
At the end of the Summer Reading Program, we will have a drawing where you could win a Weaving Loom, Spirograph, Fisher Price School Bus, LEGO Cozy Cabin Camping Set, Simon Memory Game, Battleship Game, LEGO Star Wars Set, Bluetooth Enabled Rubik’s Cube, Lite Brite, or Amazon Fire Tablet. When you sign up for the reading incentive program you will automatically be entered through Beanstack into the drawing for the item of your choice. Each time you complete a reading log or join us for a library activity you will be allowed another
entry in the drawing of your choice. The more you participate, the more chances you will have to win one of the big prizes!
