READING FOR PRIZES

Prize entries for the Highland County Public Library’s Summer Reading Program are given based on reading minutes and program attendance. We will be tracking again on Beanstack at highlandlibrary.beanstack.org. Register on Beanstack and join the “Unearth a Story” Summer Reading Program. You can log your minutes and your books you’ve completed there. For every five hours of reading you complete, you will be awarded a badge. When you have earned a reading badge, you will be eligible to claim a small prize and free book at the library. When you attend a Summer Reading Program event, we will give you a secret code to enter for an additional chance to win a prize in the Big Prize Drawing! Anyone 17 and under is eligible, and the reading program runs June 22 - August 14, 2026.

Don't have a computer or phone for apps? We will do the Beanstack logging for you! When you finish a book write down the book title and log your reading minutes. Once you have 300 minutes (five hours), you can return your reading log to the library for a prize. There is a limit of ten completed reading logs for the summer.
