Let's Celebrate Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness with Books!
Join us in celebrating the 250th Anniversary of United States of America by engaging our brains and reading! Reading regularly offers adults significant cognitive, emotional, and physical health benefits, enhancing brain function, reducing stress, and improving empathy and overall well-being. Reading makes us all better citizens.
The challenge is to read ten books between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
For every ten books you read, you may claim a free book and prize.
To get started, go to Beanstack and register. If you’ve previously registered, your account should still be there and you can simply log in. Choose the challenge 2026 Adult Summer Reading Program, then start logging your reading.
When you’ve completed ten books you’ll earn a badge in Beanstack. Let us know at the front desk that you’ve earned a badge and we’ll provide you with a selection of prizes. You can claim prizes for up to 100 books in this challenge.
