The library has many local family histories that are available for study on site. We also have the archives of The Recorder from 1889 to the present.

Wi-Fi Public Internet Access
The library now offers wireless access to the internet. Owners of laptops can bring their computers to the library and access the internet wirelessly. They must have a wireless PCI card installed in their computers using either the 802.11b or 802.11g standard. This capability mean the library is now a "wireless hotspot."
Afterschool Crafts
Come decorate Lebkuchenherzen (Gingerbread Hearts).The hearts are very popular in German open air markets such as the Christmas Market or Oktoberfest. They usually hang from ribbons and are decorated with cute sayings or endearments. You give them to your Valentine to express your feelings. (Or you can eat them!)
