As soon as the move was complete and the doors opened, local organizations began meeting in the library meeting room. The Mountain View EH Club, Highland County Historical Society, Monterey Garden Club, and state and local officials holding an informational meeting, were the first to benefit from the spacious new room. Another group started meeting here right away and today remains the longest running regular weekly user of the meeting room, the Monday Morning Yoga Workshop.
