In 2011, the library also joined the Blue Ridge Download Consortium of 14 libraries to provide access to OverDrive, a service for free eBook and audiobook downloads to your device. OverDrive has since changed its name to Libby and continues to offer thousands of free titles to download and read. The Libby app is available for iOS and Android, and Libby is also compatible with Kindle. The service provides a one book/one user model, so for more popular items there can be a long wait time. Nonetheless, there is always a variety of books available for check out when you need one.
